There will be no automated scoring this coming year so let's discuss how we want this to work...
After week 2 Badm 2 Jayram 1

If we cannot get a list of fixtures to provide our score guesses, we could nominate say 10 fixed PL teams for the season - then put our score against them, irrespective of home or away. We mark score win/ lose/ draw. Default picks from previous guess would apply if no entry posted.
Correct result win/lose/draw gets 2 points, PLUS correct score gets 3 more points, PLUS score only 1 goal wrong but correct result gets 1 point.

Let's go back to just the Arsenal games - result plus goal scorers...
1 points for predicting the result 3 points for predicting the exact result 1 point for every Arsenal goal scorer predicted
Example: Prediction Arsenal 3-1 Liverpool Goalscorers Alexis 2 Ramsey 1
Actual result Scenario 1 Arsenal 3-1 Alexis 2 Ramsey 1 - scores 3 points for exact prediction, 2 points for predicting Alexis would get 2 goals and 1 point for Ramseys' goal = total 6 points
Actual result Scenario 2 Arsenal 2-0 Alexis , Ozil , Elneny = scores 1 point for predicting Arsenal win and a point for Alexis' goal = total 2 points.

Can we use a default entry? For example - Arsenal to win 2-0 Giroud to score? Teams are usually available about 1 hour before kickoff - but it can be awkward to predict within the hour to kickoff.

we could have got points for predicting a f***ing shambles though? Booing - chants - supporters leaving by the thousands - Le Fool head in hands - journos the world over predicting meltdown.
It wasn't difficult - but then I did try to be positive. Waste of time that was ( again).
