It’s being claimed that the club’s second biggest shareholder, Uzbeki billionaire Alisher Usmanov, is considering offloading his shares in the Gunners to reinvest his money in Everton instead.
Usmanov has a long relationship with Everton’s majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri.
Not only was Moshiri previously a shareholder at Arsenal, but Moshiri and Usmanov were business partners in a company called Red and White Holdings.

But a spokesperson for Usmanov has moved to deny the rumours, saying in a statement: 'Contrary to some speculative media reports, Red and White Holdings would like to state that Mr Alisher Usmanov does not intend to sell his stake in Arsenal Holdings Plc ('Arsenal').
'Mr Usmanov continues to be committed to Arsenal and considers his stake in the Club as a long-term investment for his family and future generations.'
Usmanov has no position on Arsenal's board and has not been on the best of terms with American majority shareholder Stan Kroenke in the past.

Who could blame him - even fans are abandoning ship because Arsenal is no longer Arsenal. It's become some strange economic project pandering to Wenger's whims.

I thought Usmanov was an Arsenal fan so it would surprise me if that rumour was true. Lets be honest, its not like he needs the money either !!
