The Italian champions are searching for a replacement for Alvaro Morata – himself liked by Arsenal – and have earmarked Alexis as an ideal option. Italian reports claim Juventus had a €30m bid turned down days ago and they had hoped to tempt the Gunners into entering negotiations by raising the figure by €5m. However, Arsene Wenger intends to make a profit on the Chilean who they signed from Barcelona for €42.5m in 2014 and rejected the Bianconeri's offer out of hand.

I just think Morata will be a huge mistake. See him as a 10-15 goal a season player and not much else.

and worse, a sub for donkey - not played together. Bad news that donkey had an OK Euro's. If he scores in the final it'll be a new 3 year contract.

Atletico Madrid centre-back Lucas Hernandez is on the radar of Arsenal as Per Mertesacker’s long-term replacement, according to reports.
The Frenchman made 16 appearances for the Champions League runners-up this season, and, aged 20, has impressed many around Europe with his ability to read the game. long-term? - - - I'd prefer he was bought to replace BFG now.

It actually does not matter who we buy. Our manager does not know how to organise or motivate a team, therefore it's pointless worrying about transfers really. Ozil, Alexis, Ramsey, Koscielny and Giroud will all miss the start of the season as Wenger has let them off pre season and the tour.

Isaac Hayden, another failed youngster at Arsenal, is on the way out of the club. He becomes the 4th departure from Arsenal this window following Rosicky, Arteta and Galindo. No one has been brought in.
.. oh hang on, I forgot, we signed Takuma Asano, some oriental kid who will never play for us.

Now we know why Griezmann was so shit last night... he spoke with Wenger before the match... must have felt totally demotivated after that encounter.

Flamini contract also terminated - no news on what he will do. So that's 5 out and 1 Asian token player in to sell some shirts.

almost better than usual?
He usually unloads a dozen kids who were given £thousands after some friend of a parent, who drinks in a pub, where once a month an Arsenal youth spotter has a pint......names get passed on to Arsene.
