Arsenal must pay Napoli 94m euros (£80m) to sign Argentina striker Gonzalo Higuain, according to a source close to the Italian club.
Is he really worth £80m - I have my doubts, mainly because Wenger will play Donkey in the middle, Alexis wide left, Ramsey wide right, Ozil, Cazorla, Elneny and Higuain behind the front three. A recipe for a shambles, you heard it here first.

Arsenal right-back Tafari Moore is on trial at Dutch top flight team Utrecht ahead of a possible loan move.
Moore featured for the Eredivisie side today as he looks to secure a move that would be hugely beneficial for his development.
The defender, who withdrew from the England squad for the U19 European Championships at short notice, featured for Arsenal in an U21 friendly against Bournemouth last weekend.

Rumours from Italian press sources suggest that Giroud may be offered in p/ex for Higuain, which could be attractive but i doubt it would be much of an improvement to the strikeforce.

Rafael Benitez has defended the reported £35million transfer fee Newcastle have put on Moussa Sissoko – and underlined their desire to retain the Frenchman’s services.
eye watering - £35m! I'd have thought £15-20m.

I think Higuain is a massive improvement over Giroud, I give Giroud 4/10 for finishing, I give Higuain 7/10

It seems Joel Campbell is on his way out of the club this summer, according to the La-Di-Da (The Daily Star).
AW has reportedly told him to look for a new club with Valencia looking to be the front runners.
We have little enough talent at the club without throwing away what little we do have.
It's just another example of the weird and wacky ways our club is being mis-managed.

According to English media outlet Daily Mirror, Arsenal are looking for a Central back this summer and their 1st primary target is said to be Jeison Murillo. Arsene Wenger is seemed to be pretty much interested in pursuing the Columbian internation who earlier was involved in a reported swap deal with Zenit’s Ezequel Garay. The EPL side could bid 18m€ for the player.

according to reports in France, which say that Arsenal have whacked a €50m (£41m )wodge of cash onto a rustic French table in an attempt to get Lyon to part with their star striker Alexandre Lacazette.

As well as Campbell looking to be on his way , Wellington Silva has also left the club. Hardly a starter of course, but it seems our summer transfer window strategy is to reduce costs and make more money.

I don't have a big problem with unloading players who are barely worth a place in a reserve 11. What I do take issue with is ensuring we develop and buy players of a standard to contest the PL title. Buying players at a gamble that they may be worth a bench seat in 2 or 3 years is acceptable, if we already have a top standard 16 or so players. However we don't - and I can't remember when we did.

AW is continuing his gambling on younger players instead of proven talent, the currant bun reports a £2m bid for Rob Holding (a midfielder aged 20) has been accepted by Bolton! and bids have been made to Man Citeh for Jason Denayer 21 and Borussia Dortmund for Mathias Ginter 22, both defenders.
With Koscielny and Bellerin possibly about to leave AW is once again gambling in the last chance saloon. Doh

Jason Denayer isn’t a particular lynchpin with the Citizens, the Sun claim that Arsene Wenger is plotting a shock raid on the City slicker.
The Belgian international has struggled to impose himself in Manchester City, being farmed out on loan to Celtic and Galatasaray.
With Pep Guardiola chasing £38m Juventus superstar Leonardo Bonucci, it is believed the 21-year old could be available for just £10-£12m. He was described as being "strong in the tackle" and "comfortable with the ball".

Once again Le Prof is shopping in the bargain basement when he should be buying top class talent.
How can a 20 yr old from Bolton be better than our own Academy developed players? Answers on a postcard.
It's just more of the same old drivel from AW and we all know too well where that will take us. Absolutely nowhere!
